Description
This feature provides visibility into the hours a Provider is scheduled to work in the practice (Hours Available) compared to their required Contracted Hours.
It identifies Providers whose Hours Available are less than their contracted hours.
Monitoring Providers’ adherence to contracted hours helps maximize revenue opportunities and manage fixed costs efficiently, such as nursing staff expenses.
Please ensure that each Provider’s Contracted Hours are correctly entered on the Provider Contracted Hours page in Practice Setup.
Definitions
Contracted Hours:
The number of hours each Provider is expected to work according to their employment contract. These must be entered on the Provider Contracted Hours page in MPC Practice Setup.Available & Extra Hours:
The total number of unblocked hours in the appointment diary, excluding unblocked hours on days with no booked appointments (Potential Unblocked Diaries), plus any hours worked during blocked-out periods (i.e. time not marked as available in the diary).Worked & Extra Hours:
The total number of completed unblocked hours from the appointment diary plus any hours worked during blocked-out periods (time not marked as available).
