What is the Revenue Per Hour tile?
The feature tile reports on the Revenue Per Hour Worked (blue line on the graph) against Revenue Per Hour Available (excluding unblocked diaries) (brown line on the graph) per month or week over the specified date range.
If more than one practice is selected, the data is an average across the practices.

What are the definitions?
Revenue: There are several streams of revenue that can make the total revenue figure:
Invoices raised through your PMS.
Capitation (Plan) revenue as defined in Exact (not available in Dentally).
NHS England and Wales:
UDAs claimed at the UDA value in MPC Practice Setup, or a default value of £28/UDA claimed.
The patient fee invoiced in Dentally or Exact is NOT included.
NHS Scotland and NI:
NHS Payor fee and patient fee is included.
NHS capitation is included.
Revenue will include any adjustments made during the month/week.
Revenue Per Hour Worked: Total revenue for the month or week as defined above divided by the number of hours worked during the month or week. If more than one practice is selected, the figures will be the average across the practices. Drill down from the graph for the practice views.
Revenue Per Hour Available (Excluding Unblocked Diaries): Total revenue for the month or week as defined above divided by the number of hours available (excluding unblocked diaries) during the month or week. If more than one practice is selected, the figures will be the average across the practices. Drill down from the graph for the practice views.
Unblocked Diaries: Any open diary without a single appointment booked for the day as shown on the MPC Action Today dashboard.
What sources are used?
Invoices: MPC Income By Provider report. Dentally Invoices report. Exact Invoiced Work By Owning Dentist report.
Capitation Revenue: Exact, from the ‘Payor Setup’ module where a payor type is configured and the fee received from the patient (via the insurance company) is added. Example: Payor Type Plan A; Monthly Value £14.50. Dentally does not currently have this facility to manage Capitation/Plan monthly revenue.
UDA Claimed: Exact UDA/UOA report. Dentally NHS Claims report.
UDA Value: MPC Practice Setup. If not completed, will default to £28/UDA Claimed.
