What is the Average Appointment Value tile?

The Average Appointment Value feature tile shows the average revenue generated per appointment over the chosen date range.

What are the definitions?

Revenue: There are several streams of revenue that can make the total revenue figure (please note regular Capitation (Plan) revenue is NOT included):

  • Invoices (Patient & Payor) generated in your patient management software. Does NOT include any regular Capitation (Plan) payments.

  • NHS England and Wales:

    • UDAs claimed at the UDA value in MPC Practice Setup, or a default value of Β£28/UDA claimed.

    • The patient fee invoiced in the patient management software is NOT included.​

  • NHS Scotland and NI:

    • NHS Payor fee and patient fee is included.

    • NHS capitation is NOT included.
      ​

  • Revenue will include any adjustments made during the month/week.

Average Appointment Value: Total Revenue divided by the number of appointments over the reporting period.
