The Income Performance Summary explains how the Private Income Dental %, Private Income Hygiene %, and UDA Claimed % (for England and Wales only) displayed in the KPI RAG Ribbon are calculated.
Item & Current Year Targets
UDAs Claimed
For NHS practices in England and Wales only.
The UDAs claimed value is calculated by multiplying the number of UDAs claimed during the period (as reported in the NHS UDA by Period report) by the UDA value. This value can be configured in Practice Setup → NHS UDA Contracts. If no value is specified, a default rate of £25 per UDA is applied by MPC. The Current Year Target is set within your Patient Management Software (PMS).Private Dental
This data is sourced from invoices raised by dentists for all payor types classified as ‘Private’ (including both patient and payor invoices), as shown in the Income Report. To edit the dental income target, click the displayed value—this will open the Financial Target Management page in a new browser tab.Private Hygiene

This row reflects KPI values calculated for the specific day selected using the As of Date parameter.Last Week
Based on the As of Date selection, this row displays average performance values for the full Monday–Sunday week immediately preceding that date.Last Month
This row shows average performance values for the full calendar month prior to the selected As of Date.YTD (Year to Date)
This row displays average performance values for the financial year to date, based on the selected As of Date. The financial year start date is defined in Practice Setup → Financial Target Management. If no custom start date is configured, the system defaults to 1st January.t.
Target Calculation Overview
Private Dental and Private Hygiene
Targets for both Private Dental and Private Hygiene are sourced from the Financial Target Management page within Practice Setup.
The Last Week target is calculated by dividing the monthly target by the number of days in that month, then multiplying by seven to reflect a full week.
UDAs Claimed (England & Wales Only)
UDA targets are retrieved from your Patient Management Software (PMS). These are then proportionally adjusted based on the relevant reporting period.
Actual
This is the actual revenue produced during the period.
