Choosing the date and practices
The 'As of Date' specifies the date for which KPIs are displayed, defaulting to the previous calendar day.
Use the practice selection to choose specific practices. After making changes to either, click 'Create Report' to view the updated data.
Overview of each dashboard section
KPI Display Overview
This section presents key business KPIs for all selected practices combined, as well as for each individual practice. Click ‘Show Data for All Practices’ to view practice-level details.

Certain KPI values are highlighted using red, amber, or green backgrounds to indicate performance levels:
Red: Indicates a value that requires immediate investigation and follow-up.
Amber/Green: Indicate moderate or optimal performance, respectively.
Hover your mouse or pointer over a value to see the numerical range associated with each color.
UDA Claimed %: Indication of progress against the NHS UDA contract target. Only shown for UK NHS England and Wales practices.
Private Income Dental %: Indication of progress in achieving the target for dental (non-hygiene) income. To edit the dental target, click on the value and a new tab in your browser will open displaying the Financial Target Management page.
Private Income Hygiene %: Indication of the progress in achieving the target for hygiene income. To edit the hygiene target, click on the value and a new tab in your browser will open displaying the Financial Target Management page.
Income Per Hour Dental: Indication of the hourly income rate being achieved for this period from dental (non-hygiene) income.
Income Per Hour Hygiene: Indication of the hourly income rate being achieved for this period from hygiene income.
Diary Utilisation (Worked %): Shows the overall appointment diary utilisation. Unbooked time will lead to a lower percentage.
Open NHS COTs without an Appointment: The number of open NHS Courses of Treatment (COTs) which do not currently have an appointment booked within the next 270 days. Only shown for UK NHS England and Wales practices and only shown for the financial year-to-date period.
Open Private COTs without an Appointment: The number of open Courses of Treatment (COTs) which do not currently have an appointment booked within the next 270 days, excluding NHS COTs (UK only). Only shown for the financial year to date period.
Recall Effectiveness %: The recall effectiveness rate achieved for the period.
Failed to Attend (FTA) %: The FTA rate applicable for the period, based on the percentage of available hours that were failed appointments (Hours Failed / Hours Available as a percentage).

UDA Claimed %
Indicates progress against the NHS UDA contract target. Displayed only for UK NHS England and Wales practices.Private Income Dental %

Represents the percentage of available hours lost to failed appointments, calculated as:

Income Performance Summary
Displays the actual and target values behind the UDA Claimed %, Private Income Dental %, and Private Income Hygiene % KPIs. These figures determine the KPI RAG Ribbon percentages. Targets can be edited via the Financial Target Management page, accessible by clicking the target values.
Item & Current Year Target (Summary)
UDAs Claimed (England and Wales NHS only): Calculated by multiplying the number of UDAs claimed in the period by the UDA value. The UDA value is set in Practice Setup – NHS UDA Contracts, with a default of £25 if not specified. The Current Year Target is defined within your Patient Management Software (PMS).
Private Dental: Data from invoices raised by dentists for private payor types. To edit the dental target, click the value to open the Financial Target Management page.
Private Hygiene: Data from invoices raised by hygienists for private payor types. To edit the hygiene target, click the value to open the Financial Target Management page.

As of Date: KPIs for the specific day selected.
Last Week: Averages from the Monday-Sunday week prior to the selected date.
Last Month: Averages from the previous calendar month.
YTD: Averages from the start of the financial year to the selected date. The financial year start is defined in Practice Setup or Financial Target Management (defaults to January 1st if not set).
Target
Private Dental & Private Hygiene: Targets are sourced from the Financial Target Management page in Practice Setup. The target for the last week is calculated by dividing the monthly target by the number of days in the month and multiplying by seven.
UDAs Claimed (UK England & Wales only): Targets are pulled from the Patient Management Software (PMS) and divided according to the selected period.
UDAs Claimed Analysis Per Month
(UK NHS England and Wales only)
Shows monthly UDAs claimed over the past two financial years, compared against contractual targets. Graph features include toggle, zoom, and numeric display.
Dental Revenue Analysis Per Month
Graph shows monthly Private dental revenue only, against target and with data for the past two financial years. All graphical lines can be toggled, enlarged, and show data in a number format instead of graphically. Go to Practice Setup to set targets. targets.
Hygiene Revenue Analysis Per Month (Summary)
Displays monthly hygiene revenue compared to targets, with data from the past two financial years. Graph lines can be toggled, enlarged, or shown in numerical format. Targets are managed in the Practice Setup page.
NHS Scotland & Northern Ireland Revenue Analysis Per Month (Summary)
(UK NHS Scotland and Northern Ireland only)
Displays monthly NHS revenue compared to targets, including both NHS payor and patient invoices, with data from the past two financial years. Graph lines can be toggled, enlarged, or viewed as numerical data. Targets are set via the Practice Setup page.
