A guide on the Forward Cover Report

This report is designed to track future diary availability and booking percentages for selected dates. It mirrors the layout of the Appointment Analysis report and can display data for individual practices (if the "Report By Individual Practice" option is selected). Each section of the report presents information specific to each practice, with a summary section displaying totals from all selected practices. The report shows the number of hours available and the percentage of booked time for the future period.

πŸ“ Please note: This report is currently for Exact software users only.

  • Date refers to the specific date within a reporting period. If the reporting period is weekly or monthly, each row in the table represents a week or month, respectively. For daily reports, each row corresponds to an individual day within the reporting period

  • For daily, the row covers 1 calendar day. If the row represents another frequency (like weekly, monthly, etc.), the number of calendar days would correspond to the duration of that period

  • Hours Available: the total number of unblocked hours in the appointment diary for this period

  • Booked: Available hours that were allocated to valid booked/completed appointments (this is the same as Hours Worked on the Appointment Analysis Report)

  • Booked %: Booked / Hours Available as a percentage

  • A graphical plot area is shown below the table, and allows a line plot of the Hours Available, Booked, Booked % measures to be shown over the time period of the report.

The report parameters are:

  • Report by Individual Practice: This dropdown lets users choose between viewing data for each selected practice individually or as a combined summary of all selected practices.

  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Report: This dropdown lets users choose between viewing data for each selected practice individually or as a combined summary of all selected practices. It also allows selection of data aggregation by day, week, or month within the reporting period.

  • Date range: Defines the reporting period.

  • Practices: allows selection of all or specific practices within the practice group.

  • Dentist: allow selection of all or specific Providers.

  • To download a copy of your report you can use the Export Data button to download a CSV spreadsheet.

  • You can use the Print button in the top right as needed.

  • To set up automation of the report you can use the Schedule Report button.
