📝 Please note: This report is coming soon for Dentally users.

This report goes beyond simple invoicing totals—it brings your financial data to life. It tracks total invoiced amounts by date within the reporting period. But it also taps into appointment diary data to reveal powerful metrics, including:

  • Earnings per hour

  • Earnings per available hour

  • Earnings per appointment (patient)

These metrics offer a clearer view of productivity and financial performance.

If "Report By Individual Practice" is selected, the report displays a separate section for each chosen practice, allowing for detailed comparison. A final summary section consolidates totals across all selected practices to provide an overall view.

  • Select Start Date

  • Select End date

  • Select Practice(s)

  • Select Provider(s)

  • Select Report by individual practice or Summary of Selected Practices

  • Select Daily, weekly or monthly report

Section Details
Each section of the report (for an individual practice or in summary) includes the following information:

  • Date
Represents the period covered by each row. The format adjusts based on the selected report interval:

    • Daily: each row represents a single day

    • Weekly/Monthly: each row summarizes the data for that week or month

  • Days
Indicates the number of calendar days included in the row. For daily reporting, this will always be 1

  • Earnings Total
The total of all invoices and invoice adjustments raised within the given date range for that row

  • Earnings/Hour
Calculated as: Earnings Total ÷ Hours Booked — representing earnings per hour worked

  • Earnings/Hour Available
Calculated as: Earnings Total ÷ Hours Available — reflecting earnings per hour that was made available

  • Earnings/Patient
Calculated as: Earnings Total ÷ Patients Seen — indicating the average earnings per patient appointment

  • Average Wait (mins)
The average number of minutes patients waited, from arrival to being seated, for all completed appointments within the period

A graphical plot area is displayed beneath the table lets you visualise trends over time for any key measure, such as Earnings Total or Earnings per Hour. This helps identify patterns and changes in performance throughout the reporting period.
