How to Track Treatment Conversion

How to Monitor Treatment Conversion Statistics

Written by Lily Hunt

Tracking Treatment Conversion in MPC

Treatment conversion refers to the rate at which quoted treatment plans are actually taken up by patients. Monitoring this helps you understand how effectively your team is following through on recommended care, and where opportunities to improve patient acceptance may exist.

You can use this data to:

  • Identify whether patients are following through with recommended treatment, ensuring oral health needs are being met.

  • Highlight barriers to acceptance (e.g. cost concerns, fear, lack of understanding) so they can be addressed.

  • Improve continuity of care by reducing incomplete or delayed treatments.

Treatment Created vs. Started and Booked

The Treatment Created vs. Started and Booked report lets you track conversion by showing both the value and number of treatments created (quoted) within a given period alongside the treatments that have actually been taken up — defined as those where the next appointment is booked and the service code has been activated.
