This graph displays a trailing 12-month view of revenue performance using three metrics:

  • Revenue per Surgery Hour

  • Revenue per Provider per Hour Worked

  • Revenue per Provider per Hour Available

Definitions

Calculated as:
(Invoices Raised + Capitation) ÷ (Practice Opening Hours × Number of Chairs)
Surgery hours reflect actual opening hours as configured in the MPC Practice Setup – Practice Potential Configuration, not the open hours in the PMS Appointment Diary.

Revenue per Surgery Hour (Alternative Calculation)
Revenue includes:

  • NHS UDA value (defaulted to £25 if not configured in NHS UDA Contracts)

  • Private Revenue

  • Private Capitation

  • Scot & NI NHS Capitation (where applicable)

  • Product Sales
    Divided by: Surgery Hours (Practice Opening Hours × Number of Chairs)

Revenue per Provider per Hour Worked


  • Total revenue (as above) divided by total hours actually worked by all providers during the period.

Revenue per Provider per Hour Available


  • Total revenue (as above) divided by total available working hours (including whitespace) for all providers during the period.


  • This graph displays a trailing 12-month view of data for revenue-related metrics.
