This release gives you more flexibility in how you analyse your data, faster ways to act on it, and easier ways to share it across your team. It introduces Custom Treatment Categories in Explorer, patient hyperlinks to Dentally, a rebuilt Treatment Plans by Period Detail report, the ability to share Practice Hub dashboards, and report scheduling on the new reports.
βοΈ Custom Treatment Categories in Explorer
What's new?
You can now use your own treatment-category names in Explorer. Rename any of MPC's standard categories to the label your group uses, or create your own custom categories and assign the treatments that belong in them. Names are set at group level, so everyone in your group sees them consistently across reports, filters, the Treatment Plan Pipeline and MAC.
Key benefits
Your terminology β Rename standard categories to the names your group already uses.
Your own categories β Create custom categories and assign the treatments that sit under them.
Consistent across Explorer β New names apply group-wide, from reports and filters through to MAC.
β
π€ Patient hyperlinks to Dentally
What's new?
For practices on Dentally, patient names in the new reports are now clickable. Select a patient to open their record directly in Dentally, so you can move from spotting something in a report to acting on it without searching for the patient manually.
Key benefits
Faster action β Move from report to patient record in a single click.
Less manual searching β No need to look a patient up separately in Dentally.
Connected workflow β Keep reporting and day-to-day patient management joined up.
β
π Treatment Plans by Period Detail, rebuilt
What's changed?
We have rebuilt the Treatment Plans by Period Detail report on the modern reporting platform, so it loads faster and matches the other converted reports. The new version brings KPI tiles, chart summaries, customisable filters, and a configurable column layout.
Key benefits
Status at a glance β See where every treatment plan stands and which ones need following up.
Faster and modern β A quicker, more responsive version of the report.
Tailored views β Focus on what matters with customisable filters across the report.
π Share Practice Hub dashboards
What's new?
Practice Hub dashboards now have a Share button. Generate a share link or email a dashboard to colleagues in your group. They receive their own working copy to use, edit, or save as their own, and your original dashboard stays untouched. Sharing stays within your practice group.
Key benefits
Share your setup β Send a configured dashboard by link or email.
Their own copy β Recipients can use, edit, or save it without changing yours.
Stays in your group β Sharing is limited to colleagues in your practice group.
β
π Report scheduling on the new reports
What's changed?
Scheduling is now available on the new reports. You can set reports to generate and email automatically on a schedule, and send them to yourself or to the colleagues who need them, so the reports you rely on arrive without anyone having to run them manually.
Key benefits
Automatic delivery β Reports arrive by email on the schedule you set.
Less manual work β No need to open and run reports by hand.
Right people informed β Send scheduled reports to the colleagues who need them.
β Fixes and Improvements
A range of smaller fixes and improvements have also been made across the platform in this release.
π Coming soon: a refreshed MPC
Over the coming weeks we will begin rolling out a major update to MPC's interface and navigation. It is designed to make the tools you use every day easier to find and faster to move between. We will share more as we get closer to launch.
