How to Set up Scheduled Reports

What is the Scheduled Reports feature?

The scheduling reports feature allows reports to periodically be sent to your email inbox in CSV format. This file zipped and protected by a password that you set.

🚨 Important to remember: The scheduled report will be sent to the inbox you use to login to MPC. If you are looking to schedule reports to your receptionist inbox, please ensure you are logged in as the receptionist MPC user account when completing the set up.

How to set up the Scheduling of Reports

  • Firstly, click on the Schedule report button in the top right hand corner.

  • Name the report something meaningful.

  • Create the password, this is the password you will need to input when you open the zip file in the email.

  • Select how often you would like to automatically receive the report from the Schedule Frequency drop down.

  • For weekly frequency, select what day and time of the week you would like to receive the report to your inbox.

  • For monthly frequency, select what date and time you would like to receive the report.

  • Choose the reporting parameters.

  • Once you are happy with your choices, click the Schedule button.

  • You will receive this confirmation that the scheduling of the report has been set up detailing the start date.

πŸ“ Please note: If you forget your scheduled report password, it cannot be reset. You will need to set up the scheduling of the report again.

To access the Zip file you will need Winrar or Zip 7 installed on your PC.

What are the scheduled frequencies?

This is setting up how often you would like to automatically receive the report to your email inbox.

  • Schedule Now: The report will run immediately after when the Schedule button is clicked. Date range must be set in the Start Date and End Date parameters.This option saves you having to wait for any large reporting to load.

  • Daily - Previous Day: The report will run every day from the set Hour of Day and Minute of Hour selected where the default date range is the previous day only. The Start Date and End Date fields will be non-editable and will auto complete showing the sample period for the first report.

  • Weekly Previous 7 Days: The report will run every week from the set Day of Week,Hour of Day and Minute of Hour selected where the default date range is the previous 7 days only. The Start Date and End Date fields will be non-editable and will auto complete showing the sample period for the first report.

  • Monthly Previous Calendar Month: The report will run every month from the set Day of the month, Hour of the Day and Minute of Hour selected where the default date range is the previous calendar month only. The Start Date and End Date fields will be non-editable and will auto complete showing the sample period for the first report

  • Yearly Previous 365 Days: The report will run once a year from the set Month of Year, Day of Month, Hour of Day and Minute of Hour selected where the default date range is the previous 365 days only. The Start Date and End Date fields will be non-editable and will auto complete showing the sample period for the first report.
