How to Use the NHS Claims by Band Report

Track your NHS Claims by Band of Treatment

NHS Claims By Band

  • This report presents the number and percentage of claims across each Band of Treatment: Band 1, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3, Urgent, and any others.

  • Band 2 claims with a Date of Acceptance before Friday, 25 November 2022 are classified as Band 2a.

  • The report is organised into separate sections for each selected practice.

  • Each section includes the following information

Using Report:

  • Select start and end dates - reporting period

  • Select Practice(s) - all or specific

  • Select Reporting Level - Practice or Provider

  • Click Create Report

  • Month: The year and month of the date

  • Provider: Only shown if reporting level provider is chosen

  • Total Number of Claims: The number of NHS claims for that month (add provider if provider level selected)

  • Band 1 Claims: Number of Band 1 Claims

  • Band 1 % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Band 1 Claims

  • Band 2a Claims: Number of Band 2a Claims

  • Band 2a % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Band 2a Claims

  • Band 2b Claims: Number of Band 2b Claims

  • Band 2b % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Band 2b Claims

  • Band 2c Claims: Number of Band 2c Claims

  • Band 2c % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Band 2c Claims

  • Band 3 Claims: Number of Band 3 Claims

  • Band 3 % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Band 3 Claims

  • Urgent Claims: Number of Urgent Claims

  • Urgent % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Urgent Claims

  • Other Claims: Number of Claims not falling in the Bands 1 to 3 or urgent

  • Other % of Total: Percentage out of Total Claims of Claims not falling in the Bands 1 to 3 or urgent

πŸ’‘ Top tip: Clicking a column header in the table enables sorting the table based on the values in that column.

  • To download a copy of your report you can use the Export Data button to download a CSV spreadsheet.

  • You can use the Print button in the top right as needed.

  • To set up automation of the report you can use the Schedule Report button.
