Easily Track Your Treatment Pipeline

The Open COTs without appointment is your go-to tool for keeping on track of your treatment plans. It’s especially useful for tracking treatment plan progress and ensuring patients are followed up promptly enhancing patient care.

What does the tile figures tell me?

Left figure: Shows details about Private open courses that don’t yet have an appointment booked.

Right figure: Shows details about NHS open courses that don’t yet have an appointment booked.

Working through these lists helps keep your whitespace to a minimum while ensuring patients receive timely follow-up. This is also a valuable tool for TCOs to track the progress of treatment plans.

🚨 Important: NHS and Private treatment plans are reported separately – simply click into each box for detailed insights in the Treatment Plans By Period Detail Report.

How to Effectively use the Report

We would recommend running this report at least once a week and contacting the patients that do not have a future appointment to try get the treatment plans converted.

  • Click the blue number in the Number of COTs column to open all outstanding treatment plans by provider.

💡 Top tips

1. Use the 'Creation Date' heading to toggle and bring your oldest courses to the top of the report. We would recommend making old treatment plans inactive on your practice management software.

2. Use the % Completed column to sort:

Click once to bring fully completed courses (100%) to the top – this means all service codes are ticked on the patients charting screen, the treatment plan just needs closed down.

Click again to bring 0% courses to the top – these COTs haven’t been started yet.

3. Use the 'Search for Service Codes' filter to quickly find open courses with specific codes, like Invisalign or Dental Implants.

4. Use Total Treatment Plan Range filter to identify higher value treatment plans.

5. Use Completed Type filter to identify status of COT.

Exporting, Printing & Automating

  • Export Data: Download the report as a CSV spreadsheet.

  • Print: Use the Print button in the top-right corner.

  • Schedule Report: Set up automated delivery using the Schedule Report button.
